OAS' Columbus Memorial Library
In order to enhance its objective to deliver access to relevant information in the areas of continuing education and professional training, the Educational Portal of the Americas has made available to its users the catalog of the Columbus Memorial Library of the Organization of American States. This library houses the world's most complete collection of unique photographs, maps, commemorative stamps, archives, and records documenting the history of the Organization of American States.
The Columbus Library is a modern information and documentation center. It consists of an archive of approximately one million books, 250,000 volumes of periodicals, 500,000 documents and publications of the OAS, its predecessors and specialized agencies that make up the Organization. Additionally, the Library has an On-Line Catalog that allows for public access to 30,000 publications and documents.
