Esta sección provee un listado de las tesis doctorales sobre América Latina y el Caribe que han sido completadas recientemente en universidades de los Estados Unidos y algunas de Canadá, el Reino Unido y Alemania. Esta información fue tomada de las compilaciones mensuales Dissertations Abstracts International, de enero de 1996 a junio 1996. Las personas interesadas en adquirir estas tesis en microfilm o en papel pueden solicitarlas a: University Microfilms International, 300 N. Zeeb Road, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48106, U.S.A.

Las tesis citadas a continuación están clasificadas por materias, y dentro de éstas alfabéticamente por autor. Se advierte que los apellidos de los autores y las disciplinas están registradas tal como aparecen en DAI. Se incluye además el título, nombre de la universidad, año en que fue completada, mes del volumen en que está compilada y número de identificación. Las que no tienen asignado un número pueden solicitarse directamente a la universidad respectiva.

This section provides a list of dissertations on Latin America and the Caribbean recently completed in universities in the United States, and some from Canada, the United Kingdom, and Germany. The information was taken from the monthly compilations of Dissertations Abstracts International of January 1995 to June 1995. Persons interested in obtaining copies of these dissertations on paper or microfilm may request them from University Microfilms International, 300 N. Zeeb Road, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48106. U.S.A.

The dissertations are grouped by fields, and within them are listed alphabetically by author. Note that the surnames of the authors and the disciplines are given exactly as shown in the DAI. Also included are the title, the name of the university, the year of completion, the month of the volume in which it is listed, and the identification number. Those listed without numbers may be requested directly from the university shown.

The lists of dissertations on Latin America and the Caribbean published in Dissertations Abstracts International from January 1979 to September 1993 may be found in earlier issues of the Inter-American Review of Bibliography starting with no. 2, vol. 29, 1979.
