* Silvia C. Halpern is Social Worker of the Departamento
de Saúde Mental, Faculdade de Medicina, Universidade Federal de Pelotas. She
holds a Master in Special Education from the University of North Carolina at
Chapel Hill. Ricardo Halpern is Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, Departamento
Materno Infantil, Faculdade de Medicina, Universidade Federal de Pelotas. He
holds a Master in Maternal and Child Health from the University of North Carolina
at Chapel Hill. Rune J. Simeonsson is a Professor of Special Education, School
of Education, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He holds a PhD in
Psychology and a Master in Maternal and Child Health from the University of
North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Bernado L. Horta is Assistant Professor of the
Universidade Católica de Pelotas. He holds a Master in Epidemiology from the
Federal University of Pelotas in Brazil.
