The objective of this work is to try to offer a vision of the political and social framework in which Argentine education was developed in the last century, and in which the current Educational Reform is occurring. It is based on the premise that education is a historic construction that considered the popular sectors, especially the worker movement, the main protagonist, due to the plan to incorporate capitalism in Argentina. This article will also try to present the status of discussions taking place on the relation between Education and the Productive Systems in Brazil and Argentina, starting with the topics raised by the principal labor organizations.
