ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT CAPACITY- BUILDING SEMINARS
IN LATIN AMERICA AND THE CARIBBEAN
* Richard M. Huber, Jr. is an Environmental Specialist in
the Environmentally and Socially Sustainable Development Sector Management Unit
for Latin America and the Caribbean in the World Bank (IBRD/LCSES). He has nearly
20 years of development experience throughout the Americas. His MSc degree is
from Yale University in Environmental Sciences. Richard A. Meganck is Director
of the Unit for Sustainable Development and Environment at the Organization
of American States. Dr. Meganck has worked in international resource development
for 25 years, and has undertaken more than 250 technical missions to 91 countries
in Latin America and the Caribbean, Asia and the Pacific, Africa and Central
Europe. His PhD is from Oregon State University in Natural Resource Management.
