* Dr. Sam H. Ham is professor of environmental communication and international conservation in the College of Forestry, Wildlife and Range Sciences, University of Idaho, Moscow, Idaho, USA. The author of more than 80 publications on environmental education, he has taught or conducted research throughout most of Latin America and North America. Dr. Richard A. Meganck is director of the Wider Caribbean Regional Coordinating Unit for the United Nations Environment Program, Kingston, Jamaica, West Indies, and formerly Regional Development Specialist with the Organization of American States, Washington, D.C. He has worked throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.
